Is there always a minimally invasive answer or solution?
"There was a gentleman who came to me a couple of months ago, walked in the door and said he wanted Minimally Invasive Surgery. I said, your problem isn't conducive to Minimally Invasice Surgery, what you need isn't easy to do through a little keyhole incision – I would not do that, even though I do Minimally Invasive Surgery. He went off to someone else who would do it and he didn't get better. You can always try to keep your surgery to the minimum, but you also have to tailor your surgery to the diagnosis. You have to always fight the battle of doing too little versus doing too much."
